Hi! I’m Randi and I’m a freelance writer, editor and digital freak based in Toronto. I cover a wide variety of topics, including fashion, art, pop culture and lifestyle—sometimes self deprecatingly, other times seriously.
My work can be seen in publications such as The Globe and Mail, The Kit, Canadian Art, Flare Magazine, Vogue.com, The Coveteur, S/ Magazine, Interview Magazine, Broadly, Toronto Life and NOW Magazine.
I also work with brands such as Nasty Gal, Follain, Aldo, Holt Renfrew and Pusateri's in a copywriting, strategy and consulting capacity.
Previously, I was the Executive Digital Editor at FASHION Magazine, where I led both print and digital teams through an integrated editorial strategy. In my five years at the magazine, I travelled to fancy locales in pursuit of celebrity and designer interviews, squashed social media records and managed to win four consecutive awards for best website at the P&G Fashion and Beauty Awards. Oh, and I covered fashion week too, which is always less glamorous than you think.
I am the co-chair of the Canadian Opera Company's annual Operanation gala, but don't let that fool you: I am a lover of low culture at heart. In my spare time, I am a DJ who goes by the name Kit Deluca. And if that didn't spell it out, I am still not over the nineties. For more proof, visit my throwback Instagram account @capsule98.
